Limited Scope X-Ray Technician Position at AFC Urgent Care Denver

Objective : Greet and register patients, handle front office administrative tasks and back office. To perform all diagnostic x-rays and assist in the care of patients.


Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Assist in-patient care including
  • Greet patients in a professional, warm, friendly and calm manner
  • Perform patient registration (enter in DocuTap, verify insurance, collect copays, check outstanding balances, etc.)
  • Direct patients to available examination rooms and ensure rooms are set up based on patient initial complaint
  • Take vital signs
  • Document patient data
  • Assist provider – Discharge patients from room with instructions
  • Ensure each room is cleaned after each patient encounter
  • Ensure patient flow is speedy and organized
  • Ensure the x-ray equipment is operationally maintained
  • Ensure that monitoring badges of all x-ray staff are kept up to date
  • Perform all diagnostic x-rays
  • Restocking medical supplies
  • General office cleanup at end of day or end of shift
  • Enter charges, scan charts and ensure patient files and charges are complete and accurate
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner – forward call or take message as appropriate
  • Coordinate faxes and referrals with other physicians and employers
  • Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting area and front office area


Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited program.
  • Licensed in accordance with state of jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Must be proficient in the use of computer software
  • Warm, friendly attitude with excellent patient interaction skills
  • Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently

Medical Receptionist Position at AFC Urgent Care Denver

Job Description

To accurately check patients in and out by verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining patient records and accounts. Maintain patient flow. Provide positive patient relations.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Prepare the clinic for opening each day by reviewing the facility, opening all systems applications, and preparing new patient registration packets and required documents
  • Greet patients, provide patients initial paperwork, and obtain copies of insurance and identification cards.
  • Register patients, update patient records, and verify insurance accurately and timely
  • Follow company procedures related to workers’ compensation and occupational medicine patients
  • Determine, collect and process patient payments and address collection and billing issues
  • Discharge patients accurately and timely by collecting balances, providing patient documentation, and following discharge procedures
  • Respond promptly to customer needs, provide excellent customer service, assist patients with follow-up appointments, and fulfill medical documentation requests
  • Balance daily patient charges (cash, check, credit cards) against system reports
  • Complete closing procedures by preparing closing documentation and submitting required reports
  • Prepare, sign, and drop the deposit in the safe on a nightly basis
  • Complete cash control procedures and secure financial assets
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Observe safety and security procedures; promote a safe and pleasant work environment
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions to management
  • Regular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations

PA-C Position at AFC Urgent Care Denver

Job Description

AFC Urgent Care Denver is looking for passionate physician assistants having at least 2 years experience working in an urgent care or family practice setting. Having a great bedside manner and enjoying patient interaction is key to qualify for this position.

We expect our physician assistant to work independently and have the opportunity to focus on patient care only. Our compensation plans entail a base pay and a very competitive bonus structure.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Providing evaluation and management of urgent care patients
  • Coordinates and implements plan of care in consultation with supervising physician for patients
  • Serves as the primary liaison between the nursing staff and the physician
  • Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team in care planning and arranging follow up care or referral as appropriate.

Family or ER Physician Position at AFC Urgent Care Denver

Job Description

AFC Urgent Care Denver is always looking for family or ER doctors who passionately care for patients and enjoy the practice of medicine. We offer doctors the chance to focus on patient care and grow into leadership positions.
